Who is Rich?

Once, a lady with her family was staying in a 3-star hotel for a picnic. She was the mother of a 6 month old baby.

"Can I get 1 cup of milk?" asked the lady to the 3-star hotel manager.

"Yes madam", he replied.

"But it will cost 100 bucks". "No problem", said the lady.

While driving back from hotel, the child was hungry again.

They stopped at a road side tea stall and took milk from the tea vendor
 
"How much?” she asked the tea vendor.

"Madam, we don't charge money for kid's milk", the old man said with a smile.

"Let me know if you need more for the journey". The lady took one more cup and left.

She wondered, "Who’s richer? The hotel manager or the old tea vendor?

Sometimes, in the race for more money, we forget that we are all humans. Let's help someone in need, without expecting something in return. It will make us feel better than what money can.

Hero Mother

One Day Thomas Edison Came home and gave a paper to his mother. He told her, “My teacher gave this paper to me, and told me to only give it to my mother”.
His mother’s eyes were tearful as she read out the letter aloud to her son : Your child is a genius. This school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself.
Many years after Edison’s mother died and he was one of the greatest inventors of the century, one day he was looking through the old family things. Suddenly he saw the folded paper in the corner of the drawer in a desk. He took it and opened it up. On the paper it was written: Your son is addled (mentally ill). We won’t let him come to school any more.

Edison cried for hours and then wrote in his diary: “Thomas Alva Adison was an addled child that, by the hero mother, became the genius of the century”

மகள் தந்தை பாசம்

"முத்தம் காமத்தில் சேர்ந்ததல்ல என்பது மகள்களை பெற்றெடுத்த அப்பாக்களுக்கு மட்டுமே தெரியும்..." இயக்குனர் ராமின் குரலில் உலகமெங்கும் அப்பா - மகள் பாசத்தை பறைசாற்றிய "தங்க மீன்கள்" திரைபடத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற வசனம். ஆம், அப்பாக்களுக்கு எப்போதுமே தங்கள் மகள் தான் தங்க மீன். ஓர் கட்டத்தில் தனது மனைவி மீதான அன்பை விட பலமடங்கு தனது மகள் மேல் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள் அப்பாக்கள்.

ஆண்களுக்கு மட்டுமே கிடைத்த ஓர் வரம். ஆண்மகனாகிய ஒருவன் தனது வாழ்வில் மூன்று தாய்களை சந்திக்கிறான். முதலில் பெற்றெடுத்த தாய், இரண்டாவதாக தாய் பெற்றெடுத்து பரிசளித்தா சகோதரி உருவிலான தாய். மூன்றாவதாக தனது மனைவி பரிசளித்த மகள் உருவிலான தாய். இதில் நேரடியாக தனது இரத்தத்தின் மூலமாக கிடைத்த முத்தான மகள் தான் அவனது இறப்பு வரை உடன் இருக்கிறாள், பெரும்பாலும்.

ஓர் ஆண்மகன் தனது மகளை விரும்ப இவ்வளவு காரணங்கள் இருக்க, மகள்கள் தங்களது அப்பாவை, அம்மாவை விட அதிகம் விரும்ப என்ன காரணங்கள் இருக்கிறது.... நிறையவே இருக்கிறது..

தங்களது வாழ்நாளில் நீண்ட நாட்களாக கண்ட நேர்மையான தோழன் தங்களது தந்தை தான் என பெண்கள் எண்ணுகிறார்கள். பெண்கள் தங்களது வாழ்நாளில் அதிக நேரம் செலவழிப்பதும் அவர்களது தந்தையுடன் தான். தங்களது எந்த நிலையிலும் பாதுகாக்கும் ஒரே நபர் தந்தை தான் என்கின்றனர் பெண்கள்.

பிறந்த முதல் நாளில் இருந்து வளரும் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும், உலகை கற்றுத்தரும் ஆசான் தந்தை தான். இது மகன்களுக்கும் கிடைக்கும் வாய்ப்பு தான். ஆனால், பெண்களுக்கு வாழ்நாள் முழுதும் கிடைக்கும் பரிசு இது.

மகன்களிடம் காண்பிக்கும் அதே கோபத்தை, அப்பாக்கள் தங்களது மகள்களிடம் காண்பிப்பது இல்லை. வீட்டில் சகோதரன் வாங்கிய அளவு அடியை, எந்த மகளும் எப்போதும் வாங்கியது இல்லை.

மகள்கள் கேட்கும் எந்த விஷயத்திற்கும் அப்பாக்கள், "முடியாது.." என்ற வார்த்தைகளை பிரயோகம் செய்வதில்லை. தன்னால் முடிந்த வரை மகள்களை மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் வளர்ப்பவர்கள் அப்பாக்கள்.

வெளியிடங்களுக்கு சென்று தாமதம் ஆனால், அது எந்நேரமாக இருந்தாலும், கால்கடுக்க காத்திருந்து அழைத்துவரும் காவலன் அப்பா.

காதல் என்றால் என்ன, பருவத்தில் வரும் ஆசைகளும், மோகமும் என்ன, மெய்தனை எப்படி உணர்வது என மகளுக்குள் காதலை புரிய வைப்பவர் அப்பா. ஒவ்வொரு மகள்களின் முதல் காதலன் அப்பா தான்.

என்னதான் அம்மா பாலூட்டினாலும், பெண்களுக்குள் தைரியத்தை ஊட்டுவது அப்பாக்கள் தான். அம்மாவுக்கு எப்போதுமே தங்களது குழந்தைகள் மீது ஓர் பயம் இருக்கும் அது பயம் அல்ல, அக்கறை. ஆதலால், தைரியத்தை ஊட்ட அப்பாக்களால் மட்டும் தான் முடியும்.

ஓர் பெண்ணின் உறவில், அனைவரும் ஒவ்வொரு சூழ்நிலை வரும் போதும், மாறி, மாறி, தோன்றுவர். அவர்களுள் நிறையா மாற்றங்களை காணமுடியும். ஆனால், அம்மா, அப்பா மட்டும் தான் கடைசி வரை எந்த மாற்றமும் இல்லாமல், மகளை ஏமாற்றம் அடைய வைக்காமல் இருக்கும் உறவுகள்.

கடைசி வரை தன்னுடன் இருக்க ஒவ்வொரு மகளும் விரும்பும் உறவு அப்பா. அப்பாவின் மறைவு பெண்களின் கண்ணீர் ஊற்றுக்கு காரணமாகிறது. ஓர் மகளின் வாழ்க்கையில் அப்பா என்பவர் ஓர் உறவு அல்ல, தோழன், காதலன், ஹீரோ, காவலன் என எண்ணற்ற பாத்திரங்களை தாங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பவர் தான் அப்பா. ஆதலால் தான் பெண்கள் தங்களது தந்தையை அதிகமாக நேசிக்கிறார்கள்.

what is Kaliyug and what will happen during Kaliyug asked The four Pandavas (except Yudhishthira who was not present) 
Krishna smiled and said "let me demonstrate you the situation of Kaliyug" he took a bow and four arrows and shot them in four directions, and ordered the four Pandavas to bring them back.
Each of the four Pabdavas went in four different directions to search for the arrows.
Arjuna when picked the arrow heard a very sweet voice he turned back and saw a cuckoo was singing bhajans in very spellbinding voice but was also eating flesh of a live rabbit which was in great pain. Arjuna was very surprised to see such a gory act by such a divine bird he left the place immediately.
Bhima picked arrow from a place where five wells were situated, the four wells were surrounding a single well. The four wells were overflowing with very sweet water as if they were not able to hold water and surprisingly the well in the middle of these four overflowing wells was completely empty. Bhima was also puzzled at this sight.
Nakula was returning to the place after picking up the arrow he stopped at a place where a cow was about to give birth. After giving birth the cow started licking the calf but continued to lick it even after the calf was clean, with great difficulty people were able to separate them and by that time the calf was injured badly. Nakula was puzzled by the behaviour of such calm animal.
Sahdev picked arrow which fell near a mountain and saw a big boulder falling, the boulder was crushing the rocks and big trees on his way down, but the same boulder was stopped by a small plant. Sahdev was also amazed at this sight.
All the Pandavas asked the meaning of these incidents from Krishna who smiled and started explaining
" In Kaliyug the priests will have very sweet voice and will also have great knowledge but they will exploit devotees the same way cuckoo was doing with rabbit. In Kaliyug poor will live among rich, those rich will have enormous amount of wealth which will actually overflow but they will not offer a single penny to the poor same as the four well didn't had a single drop of water for the empty well. 
In Kaliyug parent will love their children so much that their love will actually spoil them and will destroy their lives similar to the love shown by cow to her newborn calf.
In Kaliyug people will fall in terms of character like the boulder from the mountain and they will not be stopped by anyone at the end only the name of God will be able to hold them from doom like the little plant held the boulder from further fall.
That's explanation of Kaliyug from Lord Krishna to Pandavas.

குட்டி கதைகள் : கை மேல் பலன் கிடைத்தது !

                  
           அரசன் ஒருவன் சகுனங்களில் ஆழ்ந்த நம்பிக்கை உடையவன். அரண்மணை சோதிடர் இந்த நம்பிக்கை மேல் குளிர் காய்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். ஒரு நாள் இப்படித்தான் 'அரசே, அதிகாலை எழுந்தவுடன் இரண்டு காக்கைகளை ஒன்றாகப் பார்த்தால் நாள் சிறக்கும்' என்று நம்பிக்கை ஊட்டினார்.

மன்னன் சேவகனை அழைத்தான். காலையில் எங்காவது இரண்டு காக்கைகள் தென்பட்டால் உடனே தனக்குத் தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான்.

அதன் பின் தினமும் பொழுது விடியும் முன்பே சேவகன் தெருவில் அலையத் தொடங்கி விடுவான்.

ஒரு நாள் அரண்மனக்குப் பக்கத்துத் தெருவில் இரண்டு காக்கைகள் ஒன்றாக அமர்ந்திருப்பதைக் கண்டான். "அடடா! நல்ல சகுனம், இன்று மன்னர் நமக்கு நிச்சயம் பதவி உயர்வு கொடுப்பார் என்று மகிழ்ச்சி மிகுதியுடன் மூச்சிரைக்க ஓடி வந்து மன்னரிடம் விபரம் சொன்னான்.

இதைக் கேட்டு துள்ளி எழுந்த மன்னன் சேவகனுடன் அந்த இடத்திற்கு ஓடினான். அதற்குள் ஒரு காக்காய் 'வாக்கிங்' போய் விட்டது.

மன்னனுக்கு மூக்கின் மேல் கோபம் வந்து விட்டது. தளபதியை அழைத்து 'இந்தப் பொறுப்பற்ற சேவகனுக்குப் பத்து கசையடி கொடு' என்று உத்தரவிட்டான்.

சேவகன் சிரிக்க ஆரம்பித்து விட்டான். 'இடுக்கண் வருங்கால் நகுக' என்று படித்துப் புரிந்து வைத்திருந்தவன் போலும். மன்னனுக்கு ஆத்திரம் இன்னமும் அதிகமானது. 'நீ சிரித்ததற்கு சரியான காரணம் சொல்லாவிட்டால் இன்னமும் பத்து கசையடி' என்று உறுமினான்.

சேவகன் சொன்னான். 'மகா மன்னரே. இன்று நான் மட்டும்தான் அதிகாலையில் இரட்டைக் காக்கைகளைப் பார்த்தேன். கை மேல் பலன் கிடைத்து விட்டது அல்லவா?' என்றான்.

மன்னருக்கு சுருக்கென்று ஏதோ உரைத்தது. சோதிடர் கூட 'எஸ்கேஏஏஏஏ..ப்' ஆகிவிட்டார் என்று கேள்வி!!!

Zen Stories : யானையும்...குருடர்களும்..

             
           ஒரு ஊரில் வாழும் மக்கள் அனைவரும் கடவுள் மற்றும் வெவ்வேறு மதங்களைப் பற்றி பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்போது அது ஒரு பெரிய விவாதமாக மாறியது. அந்த விவாதம் "கடவுள் பார்க்க எப்படி இருப்பார்?" என்பதைப் பற்றியாகும். அங்கு ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒவ்வொரு பதிலைக் கூறினர். பின்னர் அதற்கு சரியான பதிலை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை என்பதால், ஒரு புத்தரை பார்த்து அவரிடம் அதற்கான பதிலை கேட்கச் சென்றனர்.
அங்கு அவரிடம் "கடவுள் பார்க்க எப்படி இருப்பார்? அதற்கு சரியான பதிலை எங்களால் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை" என்று கூறினார்கள். அப்போது புத்தர் அவர்களது சீடர்களிடம் "நான்கு குருடர்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு பெரிய யானையை கொண்டு வாருங்கள்" என்று கூறினார்.
அந்த சீடர்களும் கொண்டு வந்தனர். பின் புத்தர் அந்த நான்கு குருடர்களிடம், "நான் ஒரு பொருளை தருகிறேன், அது என்னவென்று கூறுங்கள்" என்று கூறினார். அவர்களும் சரி என்று கூறினார்.
முதலில் அந்த குருடர்களுள் ஒருவன் யானையின் கால்களை தொட்டுப் பார்த்து, அது "தூண்" போல் இருக்கிறது என்று கூறினான். மற்றொருவன் அதன் வயிற்றைத் தொட்டுப் பார்த்து, அது "சுவர்" போல் இருக்கிறது என்று கூறினான். மூன்றாமவன் அந்த யானையின் காதுகளைத் தொட்டுப் பார்த்து, "துணி" போல் இருக்கிறது என்று சொன்னான். அடுத்தவன் அதன் வாலைத் தொட்டுப் பார்த்து, "கயிறு" போல் உள்ளது என்றான்.
பின்னர் புத்தர் மக்களிடம் "இந்த குருடர்கள் யானையை தொட்டுப் பார்த்து, அவர்கள் உணர்ந்ததை வெவ்வேறு மாதிரி கூறினார்கள். இவற்றில் எது சரி?" என்று கேட்டு, அதேப்போல் தான் கடவுளும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மாதிரி என்று கூறி உள்ளே சென்று விட்டார்.

சிறுகதை!

ஒரு கிராமத்தில் ஏழை விவசாயி ஒருவன் வாழ்ந்து வந்தான். அவன் தன் வீட்டுத் தேவைக்காகத் தினமும் ஆற்றிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் எடுத்து வருவதை வழக்கமாகக் கொண்டிருந்தான்.

தண்ணீர் எடுத்து வர அவன் இரண்டு பானைகளை வைத்திருந்தான். அந்தப் பானைகளை ஒரு நீளமான கழியின் இரண்டு முனைகளிலும் தொங்க விட்டு, கழியைத் தோளில் சுமந்து செல்வான்.

இரண்டு பானைகளில் ஒன்றில் சிறிய ஓட்டை இருந்தது. அதனால் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் வீட்டிற்கு வரும் பொழுது, குறையுள்ள பானையில் பாதியளவு நீரே இருக்கும்.

குறையில்லாத பானைக்குத் தன் திறன் பற்றி பெருமை. குறையுள்ள பானையைப் பார்த்து எப்பொழுதும் அதன் குறையைக் கிண்டலும் கேலியும் செய்து கொண்டே இருக்கும்.

இப்படியே இரண்டு வருடங்கள் கழிந்து விட்டன. கேலி பொருக்க முடியாத பானை அதன் எஜமானனைப் பார்த்துப் பின் வருமாறு கேட்டது.

"ஐயா! என் குறையை நினைத்து நான் மிகவும் கேவலமாக உணர்கிறேன். உங்களுக்கும் தினமும் என் குறையால், வரும் வழியெல்லாம் தண்ணீர் சிந்தி, உங்கள் வேலைப் பளு மிகவும் அதிகரிக்கிறது. என் குறையை நீங்கள் தயவு கூர்ந்து சரி செய்யுங்களேன்"

அதற்கு விவசாயி, "பானையே! நீ ஒன்று கவனித்தாயா? நாம் வரும் பாதையில், உன் பக்கம் இருக்கும் அழகான பூச்செடிகள் வரிசையைக் கவனித்தாயா? உன்னிடமிருந்து தண்ணீர் சிந்துவது எனக்கு முன்னமே தெரியும். அதனால்தான் வழி நெடுக பூச்செடி விதைகளை விதைத்து வைத்தேன். அவை நீ தினமும் சிந்திய தண்ணீரில் இன்று பெரிதாக வளர்ந்து எனக்கு தினமும் அழகான பூக்களை அளிக்கின்றன. அவற்றை வைத்து நான் வீட்டை அலங்கரிக்கிறேன். மீதமுள்ள பூக்களை விற்றுப் பணம் சம்பாதிக்கிறேன்"

இதைக் கேட்ட பானை கேவலமாக உணர்வதை நிறுத்தி விட்டது. அடுத்தவர் பேச்சைப் பற்றிக் கவலைப் படாமல் தன் வேலையைக் கருத்துடன் செய்யத் தொடங்கியது

நீதி: சில வேளைகளில் அடுத்தவர் பேச்சைப் பற்றிக் கவலைப்பட்டால், நாம் எந்த வேலையையும் செய்ய முடியாது.!!
